We invite you to find out more about becoming part of our team. -As a Senior Manager in Elliott Davis' Management Consulting Practice, you will serve as a leader for both your client and your team. You will become an expert in your client's organization and industry, and provide guidance on their key questions and challenges. A Senior Manager will work independently or on larger engagements by leading a team to bring expertise to clients. You will leverage your team's findings from research, interviews, and data analysis to drive business decisions for your client. From there, you will work directly with the client to develop an action plan and support the execution of our recommendations. You will work closely with senior leaders, presenting your team's findings and progress throughout. While every project will be different, each will be impactful for the client.Responsibilities: Serve as overall project lead on client engagements (on larger engagements managing a team)Become a trusted advisor, developing relationships with client contactsProvide advice on traditional management consulting disciplines, including strategy, operations, and organization using sound program management and change management skillsDrive client engagements through the following activities: interviews, benchmarking, data analysis, industry, and market research while also contributing to recommendations and final deliverablesInternally program manages client engagements, leading efforts such as schedule coordination, data requests, deadlines, etc.Support business development activities in our markets, including the creation of proposal materials Support as liaison for practice in discussions with prospects and internal stakeholdersAssist with practice development and internal collaboration activities (e.g., thought leadership)Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related subjects and 7+ years relevant work experience in a highly analytical role (e.g., prior experience in consulting) OR MBA and 5+ years relevant work experienceDemonstrated professional experience with any of the following: program management, process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives, operational transformation, strategic planningExperience setting strategy and executing on complex projects in the manufacturing, private equity, and or technology industryAbility to manage complex projects and timelines with minimal oversight. Understanding of program and change management fundamentalsAbility to think "outside the box" and provide solutions to clients for various business-related tasks and analyses. Strong problem-solving skillsExperience managing senior relationships either internally or within client organizationsExperience in communicating key messages (e.g. project status, issues) to stakeholders at various levels, internally and externallyExcellent communication and organizational skills, a commitment to high-quality client deliverablesMust have strong quantitative analytical skills (e.g. financial, operational modeling).
