A leading, local, independent wealth management firm seeks an -- Administrative Assistant / Marketing Coordinator to fulfill its operational needs. This position will be responsible for a variety of operational functions of the firm. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded business, marketing and administration experience.--We offer competitive compensation in a growing business. We are seeking an excellent professional candidate that is excited about the opportunity to grow with us. As a small business, it is critical that the person filling this roll has experience and a grasp in dealing with many facets of business. Some key areas this position will handle are: Administrative office needs including:o------Greeting and reception of clientso------Client schedulingo------Filing and data managemento------Order office supplies and maintain office appearanceo------Executive travel and operational assistance Assist with administration of company marketing efforts:o------Event coordinationo------Website updateso------Social Media efforts of the firmo------Newsletter and video communicationso------PR and community outreach support----Business and executive administration (vendors, contracts and etc.)--------Assist with company technology administration (Server, phone, software and etc.) RequirementsApplicants should possess the following:A desire to fulfill a professional position Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred2 or more years experienced required (financial services industry experience preferred)Excellent oral and written communication skills Attention to detail while multi-taskingProficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and PublisherPrevious event coordination, social media, technology used in marketing and other marketing helpfulMarketing and technology background or understanding helpful (especially in the financial services industry) Positive attitude and a welcoming personalityAbility to understand financial concepts for a small business Ability to communicate with clients on financial matters--
