Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:The Public Affairs and Marketing
Associate works under the primary supervision of the Public
Affairs, Marketing and Advocacy Director. This position will assist
in developing, implementing and supporting public affairs
activities and marketing strategies essential for the growth of
NHFHS. DUTIES PERFORMED:
- Assists in coordination of marketing activities needed to
advance the corporate mission, enhance the organization's brand and
address target markets.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of
community/special events.
- Assists with development of content and graphics for
promotional materials to include employee and patient newsletters,
social media, signage, brochures and videos.
- Attends in-house planning meetings.
- Provides administrative and marketing support to Public
Affairs, Marketing and Advocacy Director.
- Must hold all patient Protected Health Information (PHI), other
patient personal information and agency information in confidence,
in accordance with the Employee Confidentiality Statement.
- Actively participates in and comply with all aspects of the
NHFHS Corporate Compliance Program, follow the Code of Conduct and
obey all relevant laws, statutes, regulations and requirements
applicable to Medicaid, Medicare and other State and Federal health
care programs.
- As directed, participates in internal committees, special
projects/observances or activities that promote improvements in
organizational performance and/or advance the mission, goals and
objectives of New Horizon Family Health Services.
- Participates in CQI, other internal committees, special
projects/observances or activities that promote improvements in
organizational performance and/or advance the mission, goals and
objectives of New Horizon Family Health Services.
- Performs other duties which may be assigned by Public Affairs,
Marketing and Advocacy Director.All NHFHS Company employees must be

QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Associate's Degree in Marketing
(preferred) or related fieldExperience: Experience in marketing
initiatives and event planning. OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles.
- Ability to understand and follow in detail both oral and
written instructions.
- Strong project management skills including attention to
detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience writing and designing promotional materials.
- Experience working in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
preferred.
- Must be able to work community events on evenings and weekends,
as needed.
- Must be able to exercise sound judgment while interacting with
employees as well as patients and the public.
- Maintain professional attitude, appearance and behavior that
reflects positively on the organization.
- Possess knowledge and skills of cultural competency and
understanding of needs of center patients and target
populations.
