Our client, a leading organization in the snack food industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $25-30/hr based on experience Shift: 3rd shift 6pm-6am rotating 2-2-3 schedule What's the Job? Maintain and repair equipment and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. Adhere to governmental regulatory programs and safety procedures, including Lock-Out - Tag-Out, Arc Flash, and Hot Work Permits. Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, corrective repairs, and equipment rebuilds. Utilize predictive maintenance technologies such as ultrasound, thermal imaging, oil analysis, and vibration analysis to identify potential failures. Document maintenance activities and findings using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). What's Needed? Ability to interpret technical documents and diagrams including manuals, blueprints, and schematics Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems maintenance. Willingness to perform utility system maintenance to support continuous plant operations. Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
