Summers-Taylor, Inc., a leader in heavy and highway construction across Northeast Tennessee, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bridge Foreman to oversee and manage the construction of new bridges and the rehabilitation of existing structures. This position offers an opportunity to lead projects critical to infrastructure development and enhancement, contributing significantly to the company's continued growth and excellence in the construction field. Oversee the daily operations on bridge construction sites, ensuring all work is completed on schedule. Manage a team of construction workers, providing supervision and guidance to ensure quality and safety standards are met or exceeded. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project specifications are strictly adhered to. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including safety protocols, workforce schedules, and material usage. Inspect all work for quality and adherence to design specifications. Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide effective and expedient solutions. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. In-depth understanding of bridge construction techniques and materials. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA Safety certification. Certified Bridge Inspector (CBI) credential is advantageous.
