JOB TITLE:
Hebrew Language Elementary School Teacher



JOB LOCATION:
5007 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28226



JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for teaching modern Hebrew language curriculum entirely in Hebrew for Grades 2 to 5. Specific duties include: (1) Teaching Hebrew language lessons; (2) Designing and implementing curriculum aimed at fostering proficiency in the areas of Hebrew reading, writing, listening comprehension, and speaking modern Hebrew; (3) Developing relevant lesson plans and teaching children in Grades 2 to 5; (4) Managing a classroom and creating a learning environment that is consistent with the Charlotte Jewish Day School mission, vision, and educational philosophy; (5) Motivating, encouraging, and challenging children from diverse background and of diverse academic abilities; (6) Attending faculty meetings, parent nights, and other meetings and school events.



REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related; two years of Hebrew language teaching experience.
