HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer (Paid Relo to Greenville, SC) Description

Our client in the HVAC manufacturing and service industry is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer to add to their team in Greenville, SC. Most of your time will be spent in the office, with occasional travel to job sites throughout the southeast. In this role, you will provide mechanical engineering services by assisting commercial and industrial sales, including field visits, scope definition, and customer management. To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of HVAC design experience. In addition, our client is looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously and provide hands-on assistance when needed. HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer (Paid Relo to Greenville, SC) Responsibilities

--- Provide design services for commercial projects
--- Complete HVAC calculations and develop proposed scopes
--- Travel to local job sites to collect field information
--- Estimate installation, ductwork, and piping costs
--- Develop HVAC and/or piping dimensional drawings and P&ID's
--- Coordinate equipment specifications and selections with sales
--- Gather documentation requirements
--- Develop and maintain project schedule with clear milestones

HVAC Mechanical Design Engineer (Paid Relo to Greenville, SC) Qualifications

--- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
--- 5+ years of industrial or commercial HVAC experience required
--- AutoCAD 2D experience required
--- Ability to travel occasionally throughout the southeast required
