Monday-Thursday (occasionally work Fridays) 4:00am-2:30 pm $17/hr SUMMARY Assembles, spotwelds, grinds and polishes sub-assemblies and final assembly's working independently and as a member of a team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Selects equipment, fixtures and hand tools needed to perform task; sets up and maintains equipment used. Positions, aligns, and spot welds components together using fixtures, gauges, and measuring tools. Grinds, files, polishes welds to insure a smooth even transition between components. Interpret Company process control documents (Engineering Drawings, Travelers, and Product Catalogs) to determine component configuration. Proficiency in the use of all necessary measuring methods. Proficiency in the use of PC-based information systems. Setup and operate stationary overhead and multi head spot welders. Ensure workmanship meets or exceeds company quality standards. Assist in product development. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
