Your Key Responsibilities Steer the supply chain planning organization to ensure cost efficiency and delivery reliability of all materials and/or products. Define and/or implement supply chain planning strategies in line with the overall supply chain strategy. Steer development and improvement of planning processes, methods, guidelines and systems. Ensure that processes are aligned with the defined standards and targets are maintained. Ensure identification and correction of deviation or bottleneck. Ensure alignment of supply chain activities with strategic business goals. Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed. Your Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree 10 years of planning and logistics experience Computer proficiency in basic Microsoft programs Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results. Must have thorough knowledge of MRP, Pull Production, JIT, KANBAN and 5S principles Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive environment, with general knowledge of the OEM EDI systems Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, BOM’s, routings and shop orders Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship Preferred Knowledge of QS9000 and TS16949 quality systems Must be APICS CSPC certified (certified Supply Chain Professional) or working on obtaining the certification Our Offering Medical, dental and vision insurance Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match Regular employee appreciation and company events Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
