Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment within a production facility. This role requires strong mechanical skills, including welding and fabrication, and the ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on systems ranging from 110v to 480v. Responsibilities Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment. Perform mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, transfer conveyors, thermal ovens, machining centers, and general maintenance tasks. Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs of 110v - 480v systems, including wiring, installations, and connector circuits. Perform preventative maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and inspections. Maintain over 50 overhead cranes and hoists in the plant. Conduct facilities maintenance as needed. Independently handle older machinery requiring extensive troubleshooting. Essential Skills Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally 5 years. Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment, preferably with metal fabrication. Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED required.
