Onsrud: C.R. Onsrud is a leading American manufacturer of high-precision CNC machinery, driven by over a century of engineering innovation. As a Machine Build Technician, you’ll assemble state-of-the-art CNC machines by hand, ensuring precision, quality, and performance that meet our exacting standards. You’ll work closely with a skilled team to build, wire, and test machines used by manufacturers across industries. Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems for industrial CNC machines. Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. Perform electrical wiring and basic circuit installation. Install and test pneumatic components and systems. Work collaboratively with engineers and team leaders to meet production goals. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or alignment issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Continuously seek improvement in efficiency, quality, and craftsmanship. Requirements?: Mechanical assembly experience (professional or educational). Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Strong problem-solving and time management skills. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
