Job Description Job Description Machine Shop Supervisor 2nd shift: 3:30p-1:30am $50K-80K (BOE) Job Description Join a leading steel casting company in South Carolina, known for producing over 1200 unique parts through an innovative casting process. We are seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to manage a team of 15-20 employees, ensuring efficient scheduling and collaboration with engineering and upper management. Responsibilities Manage and oversee a team of 15-20 employees. Schedule jobs on the production floor and collaborate with engineering and upper management. Apply knowledge of machine shop procedures, machine tool setup, operating techniques, and production methods. Create, test, and run programs for CNC and Router. Set up, run, and operate programs on CNC machines for complex parts. Manually inspect parts using tools such as micrometers, thread gauges, and indicators. Perform machine preventative maintenance. Improve machine shop operations and fabrication processes. Essential Skills 8 years of experience with CNC Machinery. Proficiency in Haas (G or M-Code) and Mazatrol (Conversational) programming. Ability to program from scratch (preferred but not required). Experience managing at least 10 employees. Knowledge of programming, machining, supervision, and use of Mastercam.
