Job Overview: - The Assembler is responsible for assembling all pumps with excellent workmanship and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Use manual dexterity to assemble small components. - Perform operations and adjust testing equipment to maintain excellent efficiency and flow of work. - Perform work such as fitting parts to close tolerances, adjusting for working and proper operation. Performs to Standard Work Instructions. - Participates in '5 Whys' problem-solving exercises. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. - Embrace IR Business Systems tools to accomplish duties and drive continuous improvements. - Be attentive of company safety procedures and standards to ensure individual and collective safety, in addition to avoiding unnecessary risk to oneself, co-workers, contractors, customers, and property. Be a stand for safety having the courage to call forth and report unsafe practices. - Interpret blueprints, schematics, and follow written or verbal instructions - Following and creating standard work practices - All other duties as assigned. Requirements: - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment - 2 years of assembly experience - 2 or more years of experience utilizing measuring devices such as micrometers, gages, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools. - At least 2 or more years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, written and/or verbal instructions. Core Competencies: - Mechanical Aptitude & Technical Skills: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with precision tools, machinery, and industrial processes, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement. - Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while fostering a collaborative team environment. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and reading English. - Strong competency in critical thinking and effective problem-solving within technical or fast-paced environments. Preferences: - HS Diploma or GED Equivalent required Physical Demands: - An onsite industrial manufacturing position, with exposure to noise, heat, and cold. - Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs. - Ability to knee, bend, climb a ladder, and work in restricted spaces, walk and stand for long periods of time.
