Responsibilities: * Develop and implement wide-ranging communication strategies, integrated tactical communication plans and compelling messages for major programs/initiatives that drive key elements of HR's strategy, including but not limited to performance development, total rewards (incl. compensation and benefits), talent development, work/life effectiveness, inclusion & diversity and employee engagement and retention. * Create and deliver effective narratives about HR's strategy and programs for various audiences within the firm * Understand and effectively communicate complex and technical HR-related processes and programs * Develop and deliver content used by Vice Chair-HR and other senior leaders to promote and communicate HR-related initiatives, including e-mails, presentations, talking points, video scripts, speeches and social media messages * Partner with and provide strategic advice and counsel to HR leaders and teams to help them use proactive communication plans, change management strategies and effective messaging to ensure a constant flow of HR-related information to internal audiences * Produce and/or manage the production of other communications materials, including brochures, presentations, slip-sheets, digital/web and video and liaising with any third party creative or publishing groups as necessary Qualifications: * Minimum seven years of recent progressive communications and editorial experience within a large internal corporate communications environment; professional services firm and/or HR communications experience a plus * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience * Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities, with proven ability to translate complex ideas and messages so they can be communicated effectively to a broad audience * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple writing assignments in a fast-paced environment and to vary writing style and tone to suit different audiences and objectives; experience utilizing and writing for social media * Executive presence and ability to operate as the lead writer/communications professional on large project teams; highly motivated and collaborative self-starter with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail; able succeed under minimal supervision * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, SharePoint and Outlook; strong PowerPoint skills, with ability to turn data and analytics into compelling visuals that support communication objectives Colorado Salary Statement: The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
