This position is a key resource for creating and maintaining professional and profitable relationships with dealer customers within an assigned territory. The role will report to a Buying Manager and operate from our Greenville, SC office.How will you drive value within the organization as an Account Manager?Develop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers through daily conversations and solicitations; providing exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all credit processing questions and inquiries while maintaining a high level of integrityCommunicate credit decisions to the dealer customer within the timeline prescribedWork with the dealer representative to provide a deal structure that is acceptable to all parties to the dealEstablish and track monthly purchase objectives for assigned dealersAssist Funding team with the resolution of documentation issuesMaintain electronic records and filesFoster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of managementParticipate in special projects as neededPerform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by managementWhat should you already know to be successful as a Account Manager?Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C3) level with commensurate GLS experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be consideredPrior auto industry experience preferredMust have professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills with the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environmentExcellent sales skills; ability to think quickly in a dynamic environment and successfully overcome resistanceExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsProficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as requiredIntrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectivenessExceptional interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the businessExceptional oral and written communication skillsTeam player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environmentCommitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competenciesEmployment Requirements for a Account Manager: Must be able to pass a criminal background checkThis is a position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, days and hours of work are between the hours of Monday through Saturday, 8:00am-8:00pm.
