  • Is curious, willing to learn and explore new topics and to apply new learnings that align with current business objectives The HR M&A Project Manager is an integral part of Sonepar USA's HR team and reports into the Director HRIS. This role will be the designated HR resource for projects related to mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures. Leveraging HR field leadership and various HR departments both at the SUSA, Regional and OpCo level, you will be responsible for managing assigned projects related to due diligence matters and integration. This role is responsible in project planning (pre- and post-acquisition, pre- and post-divestiture), partnering with members of the deal team to raise any due diligence HR compliance issues, HR COE leaders, Finance, Legal, and other functions on aspects of the deal (from concept to integration). During periods of light acquisition activity, this position will manage and assist other HR projects and operational process improvement efforts that are key priorities for Sonepar USA HR. Minimum work experience requirements:
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, including some in M&A
    • Minimum 5 years demonstrated project/program management experience
    • Experience leading a team is a plus
    • Experience working cross-functionally, for a global company a plus
    • Experience reviewing HR policy and benefits documents - Minimum education requirements:
      • Bachelor's Degree preferably in HR, Business, or related field
      • PMP certified and/or completion of formal project management training preferred
      • SHRM Certification desired - Other skills/experience desired:
        • Familiarity with HR processes and departments
        • Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
        • Strong planning, organizational and execution skills
        • Creative problem-solver
        • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing direction
        • Highly organized, detail oriented and ability to think strategically
        • Strong analytical skills
        • Excellent written and oral communication skills
