OverviewThe role of the housekeeping manager is to ensure a high level of cleanliness and client satisfaction. Job duties include provide cleaning services to our administrative offices, lobbies, ballrooms, meeting rooms, exhibit hall floors, windows, escalators, and restrooms. The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining an overall cleanliness of the building as well as coverage during events.The manager oversees the housekeeping department to include supervisors and daily part time staffing needs. They have the discretion to make decisions that are in the best interest of the organization and the city. - They are responsible for tracking and ordering supplies and equipment, producing reports, preparing department budget and exercise sound judgement within this capacity. They are responsible for hiring, interviewing, and producing performance evaluations for staff. - Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to work nights and weekends.About the VenueOak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting.   • Maintains the cleanliness of all administrative offices, lobbies, ballrooms, floors, windows, elevators escalators and restrooms
  • Follows best practice in sterilizing the venue
  • Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal oversight
  • Is well organized and able to prioritize workload
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to maintain a professional and positive work environment
  • Is reliable and efficient
  • Evaluates cleaning supplies and consumables to optimize sustainability at the venue
  • Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive trash and recycling program with a focus on diversion
  • Schedules staffing
  • Write Reports as requested by the Director of Event Operations
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures
  • Hire & interview staff
  • Produce Performance Evaluations
  • Order equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with vendors and supplies
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors
  • Write SOP for departmentQualifications
    • 3-4 year housekeeping experience required
    • 1-2 years of supervisory experience required
    • Computer skills in Microsoft office required
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Must be knowledgeable of health and safety protocols
    • Must have a great sense of attention to detail
    • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for full shifts
