Job Description:
The Director of Analytics will lead and manage a team of
analysts responsible for providing analysis of company data sets
used to drive business decisions, development and execution of data
management, and execution of business intelligence strategies. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy,
timeliness, and completeness of day-to-day data while analyzing
financial trends, providing insights, and making recommendations
that will inform our business decisions. This position must lead by
example and firmly uphold the company values and wholeheartedly
champion the company culture to further develop the team, identify
opportunities for growth, and optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute data analytics, data management, and
business intelligence strategies that align with overall business
objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of analysts to ensure they are meeting
their individual and team goals.
- Partner with the Director of Financial Planning to develop and
monitor financial analyses surrounding product performance, risk
and profitability.
- Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of the data
infrastructure and ensure the data is accurate, timely, and
complete.
- Identify trends and insights in data, develop reports and
dashboards, and communicate the findings to stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations based on data insights to inform
business decisions and drive key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of
data and to drive cross-functional business initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in analytics,
data management, and business intelligence.
- Identify trends and patterns in data to inform strategic
planning and business forecasting. Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis
tools and techniques, such as SQL or Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or
Power BI.
- Experience building and managing a team of data analysts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
with cross-functional teams.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the lease purchase and
consumer finance portfolios and create analytical models to
evaluate profitability and risks due to changes to existing
products/terms or the introduction of new products.

- Required - Bachelor's Degree
- Work Experience - 5-7 years experience in Business Analytics
with a proven track record of success in a leadership role
- Preferred - MBA/Master's Degree
- Work Experience: Experience in risk/credit management in

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position during the
workday.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about
inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery,

- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity

- The person in this position frequently communicates with staff
and customers who have inquiries. Must be able to exchange accurate
information in these situations.
