Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for a Automation Systems Manager with extensive experience in Design of Automated assembly machines. A role of significant accountability reporting to the business unit VP. This role has full responsibility for operational delivery of Automated Machines in North America. Skills / Qualifications

• ---
  • 10 years' experience in a special purpose automation environment
  • Proven experience in an applications and/or proposals role in an Automation System Design Company
  • 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent knowledge of Special Purpose Machinery from basic conveying equipment and complex precision tooling
  • Knowledge of machinery used in pharmaceutical, food automotive and material handling industries.
  • Knowledge in the use of different types of robots
  • Familiar with modern manufacturing techniques
