Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and cost control.Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the cost accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of all accounting tasks
• Develop and maintain cost accounting policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze costs, inventory levels, and manufacturing expenses
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and cost performance metrics
• Provide guidance and support to the operations team in improving cost efficiency and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as neededRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
