Overview Palliative Care at HCA Mission Health-Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time - Days - Weekends - Saturday, Sunday, Monday-Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with serious illnesses. It is focused on providing patients with relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness-whatever the diagnosis. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.Palliative care is provided by a team of doctors, nurses, and other specialists who work with a patient's other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. Palliative care is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and can be provided together with curative treatment.Palliative Care Nurses within our interdisciplinary team play an important part in the coordination of care and advocacy for patients and family's physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual needs.-We are committed to providing our employees with the support they need.   • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)-Registered Nurse at HCA Mission Health:Role Summary: Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.-Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Effective 3/1/18 Bachelor of Science in Nursing OR enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program within 6 months AND obtain a BSN within 4 years of hire date into RN position. Previous signed BSN commitment letter OR grandfathering will be accepted between departments and Mission Health entities.
