Job Overview
The Innovation Lead (Pharmacy) is responsible for designing the
customer automation journey mapped to Olive's products and partner
solutions. Innovation Leads connect our customers in specific
functional areas (human resources, revenue cycle, pharmacy, etc.)
to automation solutions available in the Olive Library. Innovation
Leads drive the strategic direction of our customers' AI journey
which includes requirements gathering, value communication and,
ultimately, the sale of these solutions to our customers.
Success in this role requires deep subject matter expertise in a
specific functional area within healthcare provider operations,
including awareness of the automation market landscape. Innovation
Leads will need to develop expert level knowledge of the solutions
available in Olive's Library. Innovation Leads, as part of the
Innovation Design Team, will be responsible for generating
excitement, enthusiasm, and adoption for Olive Library offerings.
In addition, they will generate momentum for a successful delivery
of our automation solutions, working collaboratively with our
Sales, Customer, Product and Partner teams.
Responsibilities
Connects customer opportunities to Olive and Olive partner
automation solutions (pre and post sale). Supports the strategy
toward customer value achievement and successful
implementation.
Develops and demonstrates expert level understanding of Olive
product offerings in assigned functional area(s) (payroll practice
management, onboarding, etc). Maintains knowledge of and informs
the strategic direction of the product roadmap to help guide our
customers to the appropriate solution.
Presents Olive and partner products to the customer and gains
customer approval to implement them through a governance process.
Ensures a clear hand off to the implementation team that sets up a
successful delivery of the automation solution.
Owns the process of gathering requirements for each automation
solution. These may include technical configuration specifications
as well as operational requirements related to adoption and change
management.
Has and maintains business acumen and market awareness of
automation-related offerings in assigned functional areas.
Understands and demonstrates competence in Olive's partner
capabilities in assigned functional area(s).
Gathers and assesses customer feedback and collaborates with
Olive's Product and Partnership teams to drive value for our
customers.
Collaborates with the Olive Product and delivery teams to
understand the Olive standard solutions and incorporate the most
current best practices in solution design work.
Keeps internal stakeholders and the executive leadership team
informed of customer status updates and key issues that may impact
customer readiness for approving/adopting Olive's solutions.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional
experience managing pharmacy operations and/or pharmacy technology
projects
6+ years of experience with analyzing and synthesizing quantitative
and qualitative information, forming opinions with corresponding
recommendations, and presenting the results to key stakeholders
internally and externally
4+ years of relevant pharmacy operations experience as a pharmacist
or pharmacy technician, preferably outpatient. Familiarity with key
workflow areas such as prior authorization and/or medication
financial assistance
Alternatively, inpatient experience with discharge planning and/or
other transition of care work
Experience with measurement modeling - understanding of
provider-side P&L impacts and operational KPI
Understanding and experience in product sales and requirements
gathering
Strong cross-team communicator
Ability to stay organized and work independently with moderate
supervision in a fast paced, high-growth organization
Exceptional executive presence. Ability to adjust tone, messaging
and communication approach during different phases of the customer
journey.
Strong ability to communicate value and influence customers'
decision-making
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the
ability to communicate complex issues to varying audiences and
levels
Ability to develop strong cross vertical relationships
Subject matter expertise in areas of focus.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
Technical knowledge (experience implementing technical solutions,
working with RPA solutions, a range of APIs, etc)
Outstanding team player with the ability to coordinate people and
activities across multiple functional areas
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (travel requirements will
vary based on volume of customer assessments and engagements, focus
areas, and other factors)
