The Hospice Scheduler is responsible for assignment of all patient visits to the appropriate field staff. The Hospice Scheduler serves as a leader of customer service for all lines of business within the Agency. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.What you'll do as a Hospice Scheduler:Arranges referrals and schedules home visits for appropriate field staff based on Clinical Manager review and guidance.Contact patient/caregiver Assign all ordered disciplines in EMR Efficient geographic scheduling to reduce drive time allowing for timely patient care in addition to enhanced staff satisfactionOngoing patient schedule management Demonstrates consistent customer service aligned with Interim's customer service standards - to include: Educating customers about our service lines and coordinating with other services lines, as needed Effectively communicating with internal and external customers in a WOW manner Works as a team member with the entire management team to continually improve our customer satisfaction and internal process. Responds to patient/client care needs by providing complete and accurate information within scope of Hospice Scheduler job or refers the caller to the Clinical Manager or other appropriate resource. Documents calls/communication to/from patients/caregivers or other customers and follow up/outcome of calls. Communicates individual needs to the Clinical Manager and maintains confidentiality at all times. High school degree required, college degree preferred, or equivalent years of training or work experience.Minimum of one year health care/business experience in a fast-paced, customer service environment.#IHCUHOSPI192142827
