Responsible for collecting, clinically analyzing, and maintaining data regarding quality of care and health outcomes related to the care provided by indivual providers and specialties. Maintains and retrieves data from specified databases. Prepares data reports/information useful in providing direction for Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation. Performs chart review to analyze the presence and quality of clinical documentation.***Accepting applications from both the Greenville and Columbia areas.Accountabilities

• Collects, analyzes, and submits clinical and administrative data from databases and systems, and compiles information into dashboards to be used by medical staff leaders to judge professional performance. 30%
• Organizes clinical data and interprets results to physicians, advanced practice providers, and administration.20%
• Creates specialty-specific quality reports to assist physician leaders in improving quality and safety in their respective departments.20%
• Analyzes medical records for the presence of required elements according to medical staff rules, regulations, and policies. 15%
• Prepares the necessary documents for quality and peer review committees. 5%
• Supports medical staff meetings related to quality and peer review. 5%
• Works with Quality Review Nurses and medical staff leaders to determine appropriate metrics to measure professional practice. 5%Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

    • Clinical or Health Information Management certificateMinimum Experience
