Details:

• The Childhood Health and Immunization (CHI) Nurse assists the Medical Provider and/or Nurse Peer in the care and treatment of New Horizon Family Health Services patients. The CHI Nurse shall perform a variety of complex nursing tasks and related duties as required. Experience and Skills
  Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and one year of practical nursing experience in ambulatory health care setting Licensure/Certification:
    • Must be licensed as Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing
    • Must be BLS CPR certified. Knowledge and Skills:
      • Experience with the Electronic Health Record
      • Must have a working knowledge of computer programs and professional construction of emails
      • Must be able to demonstrate legible handwriting, excellent spelling, and speaking clearly and grammatically correct.
      • Must be a motivated and enthusiastic learner with a courteous and tactful manner.
