DescriptionThompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is
seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in
providing specialized care for children with autism and other
neurodevelopmental conditions.Job Duties
- Diagnose and manage common pediatric conditions and
developmental disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with
parents and caregivers
- Educate families about child development and health
maintenance.
- Provide counseling on behavioral issues and developmental
challenges.
- Conduct thorough physical and developmental assessments for
children.
- Evaluate growth patterns and developmental milestones.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and
documentation of patient encounters.
- Monitor and document progress in developmental
assessments.
- Share clinical documentation for review by collaborating
physician.
- Work closely with pediatricians, psychologists, and other
healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain open communication with the collaborating physician
for patient care.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Advocate for children's health and development within the
community and healthcare settings.
- Participate in community outreach and education
programs.ShiftShift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in nursing is
required.Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact
multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact
state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty
(30) days.Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's
program or a certificate program. Must be granted a "Document of
Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing.Anticipated Hiring
RangeHiring Range: $90,251-$147,285Grade: PAT-012University Title:
