111-1000-15004- Delivery Room Job Description: As an L&D RN,
you’ll care for patients throughout the labor, delivery, and
immediate postpartum process. You’ll support families during
life-changing moments while managing high-risk situations with
skill and empathy. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor maternal and
fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery - Assist physicians
and midwives during childbirth - Administer medications and IVs,
including epidurals and Pitocin - Educate and support patients and
families on birth plans and newborn care - Manage emergencies such
as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress - Maintain accurate
and timely documentation Requirements: - Active RN license (Compact
license preferred) - BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and
fetal monitoring certification preferred - Minimum 1–2 years of
recent L&D nursing experience - Strong knowledge of obstetric
protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation - Calm, confident
decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure situations At
