Job Description:
Job Title: Travel Monitor Technician – CMU (Nights) Location:
Asheville, NC Shift: Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 3x12-Hour
Duration: 13 Weeks Key Responsibilities: Continuously observe
cardiac telemetry monitors and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
Identify and report life-threatening arrhythmias and changes in
patient status to the appropriate clinical personnel Maintain
detailed and accurate documentation of telemetry strips and rhythm
changes Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of
monitoring equipment Communicate effectively with nursing units and
respond promptly to alarms and alerts Adhere to hospital policies,
HIPAA regulations, and quality/safety standards Required
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Monitor
Technician in an acute care or telemetry unit Proficient in ECG
interpretation and arrhythmia recognition Strong attention to
detail and ability to multitask in a high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Must be able
to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), including possible
weekend and holiday coverage
