Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: North Carolina Respiratory License Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS Description: This position is a backfill opportunity within a leading hospital. The facility is licensed for 815 beds and has received multiple recognitions for clinical quality and patient safety. They provide a wide range of medical services including trauma care and comprehensive stroke treatment. The staff includes a mix of individuals across various shifts, providing care for adult and pediatric patients. Night shift team comprises 12-16 Respiratory Therapists for adult service lines, and 3-4 for NICU/Pediatrics. The patient ratios can vary between 10 to 25. The job requires the use of advanced respiratory equipment such as GE R860 and Draeger ventilators, among others. The facility utilizes an electronic medical record system for documentation. Candidates must possess the required certifications and licensure to be considered for the role. Weekend shifts may be required as part of the schedule. The dress code includes medium gray/pewter scrubs. Candidates without the specified skills and licensure will not be considered. Preferred qualifications will be considered during the hiring process.
