Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP Description: We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist. The candidate will work in a community hospital setting. The facility offers comprehensive services, including primary and specialty care. The unit features 35 inpatient beds, including labor and delivery rooms. The team consists of both full-time and part-time staff members. The shift typically has one Respiratory Therapist on day shift. The night shift currently has one therapist and aims to increase staffing. Providers will engage with all patients requiring respiratory services. The equipment used includes ventilators and various respiratory support devices. Familiarity with electronic medical records is essential. Candidates should have experience in acute care and ICU ventilators. Preferred candidates should have some experience with neonatal resuscitation. Typical procedures performed include intubations and ABG draws. Critical thinking is essential for adjusting ventilation settings. Ideal candidates should possess a caring nature and strong interpersonal skills. A flexible approach to independent work is also necessary. Weekend coverage may be required.
