Carolina. This institution is a flagship hospital, licensed for 815
beds. Recognized among the top 1% of hospitals in the nation for

Designation, distinguishing excellence in nursing standards. Serves
as the region's referral center for comprehensive medical services.
Home to the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas.
Provides advanced cardiac care, open heart surgery, and
interventional cardiology services. Position available on the 5
West unit. Unit consists of 36 beds with a staff of over 50. Day
shift staffed with 1 charge RN, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC, and 1-2
sitters. Night shift staffed with 1 charge RN, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, and
1-2 sitters. Current ratios: Day RN 1:5/6, Night RN 1:6/7. Utilizes
medical remote telemetry monitoring and electronic medical records
systems. Expectations include preparing patients for various
medical procedures. Desired traits include being hard-working,
compassionate, and team-oriented. Weekend shifts required as part
of the schedule, totaling 6 per 6-week period.
