Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: 2 years License: North Carolina Respiratory License Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS Description: Responsible for delivering respiratory care to patients. Work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in assessing and addressing patient care. Utilize advanced equipment including adult and pediatric ventilators, transport vents, and non-invasive respiratory devices. Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system. Participate in the orientation and training of new staff as needed. Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills. Adhere to unit guidelines and policies. Availability for varying weekend shifts is required. Ability to float to all critical care units and floors as needed. Dress code includes scrubs in medium gray/pewter color.
