Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Unit Name: D3-A Building: A tower, D corridor, 3rd floor Cost Center: 616 Unit: 10-bed ICU/PCU Overflow Patient Ratios: - ICU: 2:1 - PCU: 4-5:1 Staffing: - Charge nurse out of staffing, no unit secretaries or PCTs - Day: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RN - Night: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RN Equipment: - Lift equipment, TTM, ventilators, IV pumps Documentation: Cerner Scheduling: - 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holiday support On Call: None Floating: Required Skills Needed: - Medical ICU experience in large facility - Hemodynamic monitoring - Ventilator management - Critical care pharmacology - Central line management Procedures: - Assist with bedside procedures (chest tubes, intubations) Certifications: - BLS, ACLS Dress Code: - Navy Blue or White scrubs Note: Bedside shift report required; relief charge nurse expected to do nurse leader rounding.
