Job Description Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Anderson, SC AnMed is searching for a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to become a part of our esteemed Cancer Center in Anderson, South Carolina. Nestled along South Carolina’s National Heritage Corridor, Anderson is a rapidly growing and diverse community of approximately 185,000 residents, offering a welcoming atmosphere and a high quality of life. Job Responsibilities: - Provide outpatient care with some inpatient hospital rounds. - Maintain a Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with slight variations, and cover practice call. - Manage an average patient load of 15-25 per day, addressing around 1200 new cancer cases annually. - Participate in the rebuilding phase of the practice. - Utilize state-of-the-art facilities including a 24-bay outpatient oncology infusion department and on-site laboratory services. - Collaborate with a supportive leadership team and collegial medical staff. - Offer access to nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP. Qualifications: - Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology (Board Certified is highly preferred). - Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology. - A clean malpractice and license history. - Willingness to obtain a South Carolina medical license. - Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates. License and Certification Requirements: - SC Medical License (or willing to obtain). - Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology. - Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Medical Oncology. - Clean malpractice and license history. - Eligibility for visa support if applicable.
