Nurse Practitioner | Hematology and Oncology Location:

Contract Duration: 7 Months Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position
Location: Greenville, South Carolina (SC) Coverage Dates: February
1, 2026 – September 30, 2026 Schedule: First call for patient phone
calls and hospital phone calls on Tuesday 4:30 pm–8:00 am; Friday
4:30 pm–Monday 8:00 am Weekend on-site: inpatient rounding on
Saturdays and Sundays Call rotation frequency: approximately every
5–6 weeks, dependent upon staffing Key Responsibilities: Evaluate
and manage benign hematology and malignant oncology conditions in
outpatient and inpatient settings Management of bone marrow
transplant patients Blood bank consultations and oversight Order
and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging; prescribe appropriate
therapies Chemotherapy administration handled by oncology nursing
staff; collaborate closely with nursing to ensure safe delivery of
treatment Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team
Demographics: Adults and geriatrics; clinical mix approximately 65%
benign hematology and 35% malignant oncology Site Information:
Free-standing cancer center Avg of patients per day: Outpatient
clinic patient load: average 15 per day Inpatient (call/rounding)
load: average 20 per day EMR: EPIC Requirements SC license, active
and unrestricted Board Certified BLS, DEA Benefits Competitive
