Adults/GeriatricsSummary of Required Skills: Must be proficient in
Adult Critical Care Work settings, Extubation, Nasal airway
placements, suctioning, oral airway placement, oral suctioning,
pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy care.
Must be experienced with administering albuterol, Atrovent,
combivent, flovent, inhaled steroids, ispurel, lidocaine,
perforomist, pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, spiriva, terbutaline
sulfate, tobramycin, xopenex. Must be experienced in delivering
medication through aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach,
Medihaler, Metered Dos inhaler. Must have experience with Hand
held, T-piece and Trach collar nebulizers. Must have experience
with high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy. Must
have experience with BiPaP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure
alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Experience
Required: Must have Trauma Level 1 experienceFloating: While Prisma
Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff
are required to float to other units or campuses as needed.
Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have

travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login
information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse
signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement
for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will
