Must be experienced with administering albuterol, Atrovent, combivent, flovent, inhaled steroids, ispurel, lidocaine, perforomist, pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, spiriva, terbutaline sulfate, tobramycin, xopenex. Must be experienced in delivering medication through aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dos inhaler. Must have experience with Hand held, T-piece and Trach collar nebulizers. Must have experience with high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy. Must have experience with BiPaP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Pre Assignment testing (all RN s) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract.
