Position Overview - Compensation: $500,000–$750,000 (based on experience & training) - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM - Type: Full-Time, Permanent - Call: Limited to oncology patients, no weekend coverage - Relocation & Sign-On: Generous incentive and relocation assistance provided Role Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse hematology and oncology patient population - Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team including infusion, radiation oncology, pharmacy, and lab support - Manage 15–25 patients per day in an outpatient-focused setting with minimal inpatient rounding - Utilize Epic EMR for seamless documentation and patient management - Engage in programs connected with national clinical trials (UC-NCORP) About the Facility - Level II Trauma Center with a long-standing Commission on Cancer accreditation (since 1984) - 24-chair Infusion Center and complete suite of oncology support services - State-of-the-art radiation oncology and laboratory departments - Community-based program managing 1,200 new cancer cases annually Ideal Candidate - Board Certified (preferred) or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology - Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology - Eligible for South Carolina medical license - Clean malpractice and license history required - Enthusiastic about contributing to a community-based, patient-first oncology practice Benefits Package - Health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage - Employer-contributed HSA/HRA options - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Generous PTO, CME allowance, tuition support - Disability & life insurance, Aflac options - Retirement plan with employer match - On-site wellness programs, financial coaching, and even pet insurance Living in Anderson, SC Anderson offers the perfect blend of Southern charm and modern living—a welcoming community with access to lakes, hiking, and excellent schools.
