ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Franklin, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend minimum expectations required • Patient ratios: Med Surg 6:1 occasionally 7:1, ICU/Step Down 4:1 • Float to Emergency Department as needed • ICU or Step Down/Progressive Care experience required • At least 1 travel assignment prior required • ICU experience preferred • Required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, BLS • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs • Work with equipment including vents, A lines, and central lines • Perform procedures such as thoracentesis and dressing changes • Utilize Cerner EMR system • Strong teamwork skills and outgoing personality essential • Work on a 30-bed unit with 4-5 RNs and 2-3 PCTs per shift Facility: This new state-of-the-art medical facility is a full-service critical access hospital featuring 30 beds, three operating rooms, dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces, and a 17-bed emergency department with two trauma bays. The facility provides spacious patient rooms and comprehensive outpatient services including wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The hospital has received recognition as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital and maintains high standards for stroke and diabetes care.
