Job Description:
Agape Care Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director
of Nursing to oversee the nursing operations of our hospice and
palliative care facilities across the Southeast. This role demands
a compassionate leader who can maintain the highest standards of
care and ensure that every patient receives the personalized
support necessary to enhance their quality of life. The Director of
Nursing will spearhead initiatives that align with our core values
of dignity and comfort while fostering an environment of
professional growth and excellence among staff. Lead and direct all
nursing staff across multiple facilities ensuring uniform adherence
to best practices in hospice and palliative care. Develop and
implement nursing policies and procedures that improve patient care
and comply with regulatory standards. Collaborate with
interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create comprehensive care
plans individualized for each patient. Manage the nursing budget,
including medical inventory and staffing, optimizing resources to
ensure operational efficiency. Conduct regular staff evaluations
and provide mentorship to improve skills, job satisfaction, and
retention. During critical healthcare delivery challenges, offer
guidance and decisiveness to resolve issues swiftly and
effectively. Stay abreast of advancements in hospice and palliative
care; integrating innovative approaches and technologies to enhance
patient care. Expertise in managing multi-site healthcare
operations, preferably in hospice or palliative care settings.
Strong leadership and team-building skills. In-depth knowledge of
healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with
patients, families, and staff. Proficient in healthcare management
systems and relevant software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k An active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) preferred but not
essential.
