JOB SUMMARY: Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse

RN to join our team at Douglas Manor, where we pride ourselves on

invite you to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform comprehensive
assessments of residents' physical, emotional, and medical needs;
monitor health status and adjust care as needed. Develop,
implement, and regularly update individualized care plans in
collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare
professionals. Administer medications and treatments (oral, IV,
topical, injectable, as permitted) and perform skilled procedures
(e.g., wound care, IV therapy, specimen collection) per physician
orders and facility policy. Monitor and record residents' vital
signs, perform regular health checks, observe for changes or signs
of concern, and respond appropriately to changes in condition or
emergencies. Provide direct nursing care and support residents with
activities of daily living, mobility assistance, hygiene, and other
care needs when needed. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary care
team (physicians, therapists, social work, CNAs/LPNs) to ensure
comprehensive, cohesive, and resident-centered care. Maintain
accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care provided,
changes in condition, treatments, and communications in residents'
medical records. Communicate with residents, families/POAs, and the
care team regarding resident status, care plans, treatments, and
any changes or concerns. Provide education and support to residents
and their families regarding care, treatments, medications, and
wellness. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid, unrestricted RN license in
Connecticut. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or
BSN); background in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
Current CPR/BLS (or equivalent) certification as required by
facility policy. Strong clinical assessment skills, compassion, and
a patient-centered approach; excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced long-term
care or skilled nursing environment; reliable attendance and
teamwork skills. Ability to perform nursing procedures (medication
administration, IV therapy, wound care), monitor residents'
conditions, and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies.
