is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care
RN in Columbia, Missouri, 65212! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of overall
experience required. General ICU experience required. Will accept
first-time travelers. Preferred experience in Trauma Level I.
License: Current Missouri or Compact license required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required. CCRN preferred.
Must-Have: Ability to float outside of ICU to adult
medical-surgical cluster. Ability to work weekends and holidays as
required. Ability to take call. Description: Staffing ratios are
1:2 when working in the ICU. Required to float to adult
medical-surgical units when needed. Patient diagnoses include Level
1 trauma surgical cases, multi-system organ failure, and sepsis.
Skill in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is
essential. Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and
ventilator management is a must. Perform essential nursing
procedures such as central line care, blood product administration,
and IV management. Involves care for patients with chronic and
acute renal failure along with post-neurosurgery management.
Knowledge and ability to administer and monitor procedural sedation
are required. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in infection
prevention and isolation precautions. Candidates may be required to
assist with chest tube insertion and removal. Ability to work
collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams is essential.
Must adhere to floating guidelines, including the possibility of
acting as a patient observer. 50% of holidays must be worked within
the contract duration. RTO requests for holidays will be
