Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel CV Progressive Care Registered Nurse/n/n Location/n Asheville, North Carolina /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Shift: 07:30-16:00. Weekend requirements include a minimum of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday day/night) per 6-week schedule period. /n/nJob Description/n We are seeking a skilled CV Progressive Care Registered Nurse with prior cardiovascular critical care experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in post-operative or vascular care, particularly in handling patients following cardiovascular surgical procedures. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide care for patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries. /n - Monitor and manage patient health, including post-operative status and ongoing assessments. /n - Administer medications and IV infusions per protocols. /n - Handle various clinical procedures such as chest tube management and cardiac medication administration. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - Must have prior CV critical care experience, specifically in a stepdown or telemetry unit. /n - Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required. /n - Experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery patients is preferred. /n - Flexibility to float to other units as needed. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
