Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,149 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: Surgical Technologist / Operating Room Technician Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: N/A Certifications: Certification is mandatory, BLS required Description: We are looking for a qualified CST/ORT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the operating room. Certification in surgical technology is mandatory for this position. Candidates must possess excellent documentation skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Strong critical thinking skills are essential. Experience in critical care and preoperative care is a plus. Advanced skills such as large-bore IV starts, medication administration, and assisting with arterial and central line placement are required. Candidates will be responsible for patient transport to the operating room and assisting with induction, intubation, positioning, and skin prep. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the interdepartmental team are necessary. Dress code will be provided upon hiring.
