ICU/Critical Care RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float
Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 1 year required. License: Nursing License required.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Experience
in critical care nursing. - Skills in managing ventilators and
arterial lines. - Ability to float to various units including ICU,
PCU, and MS. - Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
Description: The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse
specializing in Critical Care Float. The position requires a
minimum of one year of experience in a critical care setting. The
nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients ranging
from adults to geriatrics. The nurse must be certified in BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS. Floating to different units including ICU, PCU,
and medical-surgical floors is required. The typical patient ratio
in the ICU is 1:2-3, while in PCU it is 1:4-5 and in MS, it is
1:5-6. The nurse will be expected to work an average of six
weekends over a 13-week contract. If one major holiday falls within
the assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it. For any
additional major holidays, the nurse will be expected to work two
out of three. Full compliance with the hiring requirements is
required to start on time. Candidates should be prepared to begin
