We are seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 1, 2026, and features 10-12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with call requirements and potential weekend work. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be licensed in North Carolina. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Jan 1, 2026 LOA: 24 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiac Anesthesiologist Schedule: 10-12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday; providers will need to take call and may need to work weekends Responsibilities and Duties Provide anesthesia care for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases Participate in advanced procedures including TAVR, CABG, and MitraClip Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards during all procedures Respond to emergent situations and provide perioperative support as needed Additional Information Must have an active North Carolina medical license Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
