Epic experience required Description: Position requires a
Registered Nurse with Medical Surgical Float specialty. The nurse
will be assigned to the resource float pool. The shift will be
night hours. Each shift will last for 12 hours. The nurse will care
for adults to geriatrics. The nurse must have experience in all
potential Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical Tele diagnoses.
Floating to all Medical Surgical and Medical Surgical Tele units
within the facility is required. The patient-to-nurse ratio will be
5 to 6 patients. Epic is required for charting. The nurse must
provide comprehensive care to the assigned patient population.
Every other weekend availability is expected. The nurse may be
floated to a sister campus nearby. There are no call requirements
for this position. If one major holiday occurs during the
assignment period, the nurse is expected to work it. If two major
holidays occur, the nurse must work both. If three major holidays
occur, the nurse is expected to work two of the holidays. Full
compliance with all requirements is necessary to start on time.
References from supervisory roles are preferred. No holiday
requests will be accepted for the major holidays listed.
