Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,066 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – CVICU Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity; every other weekend required Highlights: 19-bed mixed CVICU/CVRU unit supporting approximately 850 cardiac surgeries annually High-acuity patient population with experience using ECMO, Impella, IABP, and LVAD devices Comprehensive orientation provided by dedicated unit educator and experienced charge nurses GE monitoring systems and Cerner EMR platform Strong team environment with 11 night shift RNs and dedicated nursing assistants on every shift Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac technology and perform specialized procedures including chest tube and pacer wire removal Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina (or multistate compact license) Current BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of CVICU or CVRU experience required Critical care training and experience essential Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room certification preferred Demonstrated proficiency with hemodynamics, IABP, Impella, and other advanced cardiac devices Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a collaborative, high-energy team dedicated to delivering exceptional surgical heart care in a fast-paced critical care environment.
