Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,372 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - NC License - BLS Description: MUST START BEFORE 02/09/2026. No exceptions. This is a nursing position in the orthopedic unit. The unit features 32 individual rooms. There is a team of 50 staff members. Day shift consists of 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 HUC. Night shift consists of 1 charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2 PCTs, and 1 HUC. Patient ratios are 5:1 on the day shift and 6:1 on the night shift. Types of equipment used include walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, and vital sign machines. The electronic medical record (EMR) system used is Cerner. Candidates must have relevant experience and skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Caring for patients like family is a priority. Shift requirements include working every other weekend.
