Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 1900 - 0730 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - Experience working in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit - Strong clinical assessment skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Description: The CVICU Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The role involves supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated. The nurse is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. Competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care are also key responsibilities. The unit features 8 CVICU beds, and applicants should be familiar with the associated patient population and care protocols.
