Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a
travel job in Edgefield, South Carolina. Job Description &
Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline:
Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel SLP - SC State
License, CCC, and BLS Req. Setting: SNF/LTC/Post Acute 8 Hour Day
Shift, 36 hour guarantee. Call: an occasional weekend may be needed
and would discuss prior to scheduling Caseload: cognition, memory,
dysphagia, safety awareness r/t falls or other indicators, speech
intelligibility, orientation, communication, family training,
additional areas Experience Required: SLP recommended for LTC / SNF
experience at least 6 months to 1 year EMR/Charting: NetHealth for
rehab, PCC (point click care) for other info (orders, med dx, etc)
Additional info: 120 bed SNF / LTC; caseload is a mix of STR and
LTC patients at this facility; EPA has low re-hospitalization rate;
good rapport within house Nurse Practitioner and IDT communication
for patient needs, changes, etc. Could get creative with a schedule
such as Tues to Sat if they candidate was open to every weekend; we
are flexible however must work 5 days per week; 7 am to 7 pm are
our "general" times for offering rehab as a courtesy to residents
here, daily schedules could be flexible as well (9 am to 5pm or 10
am to 6 pm, etc.) rural area SNF however close proximity to
Augusta, GA / Aiken, SC / Greewnood, SC, historic town The Good
